The new album of German project Mono No Aware sounds like a dangerous assault to your brains. It all starts quite calm for this project, but rapidly moves to a sonic turbo compressor. Ketoujin has a few calmer parts, but the main style of this album is filled with adrenaline. Mono No Aware pushes the limits of industrial music to an extreme. We're often very close of pure walls of noise. And noise is for sure an important element in their work that has been overloaded by bombastic, terror-like rhythms.
Ketoujin in a way sounds like a challenge for the established industrial standards as it goes much deeper and extremer in its basis. This way Mono No Aware remains totally faithful to a sound and style they've now launched nearly 10 years ago.
